Jodi first stepped foot on stage at age six, singing and dancing in Broadway reviews. She lit up the stage and by age eight was immersed in dance lessons. Tap, ballet, jazz and lyrical, she did them all. She was soon a teaching assistant and by age sixteen, a full teacher. She was also a member of her studio’s competition team. She received numerous 1st Place and Gold Medals at the national level, and had the opportunity to train with many talented teachers such as Al Gilbert, Janice Barringer, and Darryl Retter.

Jodi attended Plymouth State University in Plymouth NH on a dance scholarship and while there began teaching at a local studio, Tenney Mountain Dance Academy. When the studio became available for sale, she did what most nineteen year old students would be afraid to do, she bought the studio. She soon put her own mark on the studio and started a competition team and an annual Nutcracker production for the Christmas season.

Jodi lives in Bothell with her husband Stephen, and her two young children.
