Ms. Lindsay Johns began dancing at the age of four. Although she trained at a couple different dance studios when she was young, she found a home dancing at Olympic Ballet Theater by the age of 9 and stayed there through high school. While dancing at Olympic Ballet, Ms. Johns danced in the Nutracker every year and played different roles such as Marzipan, Arabian, and Columbine (mechanical doll). She also danced in Regional Dance America Festivals while she was dancing with Olympic Ballet. After graduating high school, she attended Cornish College of the Arts. She worked with teachers such and Pat Hon, Wade Madsen, Deborah Wolf, and Michelle Miller. She also had the privilege of dancing in pieces by various choreographers such as Maureen Whiting, Mary Sheldon Scott, Courtney Harris, Pat Hon, and Deborah Wolf. Also while a student at Cornish, Ms. Johns attended summer intensives at the San Francisco Conservatory of Dance and in New York City with Paul Taylor Dance Company.
She graduated from Cornish College of the Arts in 2008 Cum Laude with a BFA in Dance.
She is very excited to start teaching at Reflections this year!
