Hi! My name is Kimmy and I’m in 6th grade and I’m 11. I love dancing and I am very excited to be on Revolution this year. It is a blast! Tap and lyrical are my favorite types of dance.
Caiti
I am 15-years-old, and I have been dancing at Reflections School of Dance since I was 3. I have had so much fun dancing out in the community and dancing for God. It has been and will continue to be an amazing experience. I have learned so much and improved because of the encouragement of my teammates and the will of God. Reflections has also helped me grow so much more spiritual with God and I look forward to continuing my walk with God and developing through dance at Reflections.

Hi, I’m Natalie, I’m 14, and this is my first year as a Company member. I have been dancing for 10 years, 4 of those at Reflections. I love dancing at Reflections because I can do two things I love at the same time, dance and serve God. My favorite styles are Ballet, Tap, and Lyrical.
Miss Nakiva
I am Nakiva, I'm 24, and I've been at Reflections since January 2011. I have been dancing since I was 3, but took a long break during and after college. I am so thankful that God brought dance back into my life and steered me toward Reflections! Outside of dance, I work full-time as a Residential Counselor at a youth residential treatment center in Seattle. I am so thankful for the way that God is allowing me to use my gifts and passions for HIS glory!
About Emerge Dance Company 2012-13
MISSION STATEMENT
Emerge Dance Company is a non profit extension program and ministry of Reflections School of Dance under the auspices of The Elijah Commission. The company exists to provide non competitive opportunities for dancers to expand their abilities, prepare for a future in dance and influence the world around them with confidence.
This is accomplished by:
- Running an apprenticeship program for dancers between the ages of 14-18
- Requiring dancers to commit to regular technique classes and rehearsals
- Providing relationship building times for Biblical devotions, prayer and being together
- Using music, costume and choreography that reflect a Biblical world view
- Placing emphasis on service over personal gain through mission trips and volunteer work
Emerge Dance Company is a not-for-profit professional and training group using styles and choreography carefully selected to reflect those characteristic to the Christian lifestyle.
Team and Company training goes beyond technical excellence as these programs include opportunities for mentorship and personal growth that takes the dancer for beyond the walls of the studio classroom into the real world where the training makes a difference.
Involvement in this very unique and professional company includes opportunities for travel, continued technique training, mentorship, and dance missions experience.

- EMERGE DANCE COMPANY MEMBERS - A professional and training group using styles and choreography carefully selected to reflect those characteristic to the Christian lifestyle for College age Young Adults. (Rehearsals usually the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month 6-9 PM or more as needed)
- EMERGE DANCE COMPANY APPRENTICES - Intermediate/Advanced level dancers approximately 14+ receiving the privilege of working along side Company members. These students gain leadership training, performance opportunities, involvement in the creative choreographic process and the option of taking part in the Company trip & Outreach. (Rehearsals usually the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month 6-9 PM or more as needed)
Emerge Dance Company is available for booking performances, in your show, festival, meetings, workshops, churches etc. Please contact us if you’re interested for further information.
Debbie especially enjoys doing Worship Praise Dance Workshops in churches and has done that many times in lots of different places.
Donations gratefully accepted to help us carry out our mission.
Please make checks out to “Elijah Commission” which is our Non-Profit organization for the Emerge Dance Company. All contributions will receive a Tax Deductible receipt.

For approximate ages 14 - College. These students gain leadership training, performance opportunities, involvement in the creative choreographic process and the option of taking part in the Company trip & Outreach.
- Dunamis Team (approximate 8-12 years) rehearsing Fridays 4:45-6:15
- Revolution Team (approximate 12-14 yrs.) rehearsing Thursdays 6:00-7:30
- Reflections Dance Company (High School & College Young Adult) rehearsing Thursdays 6:00-7:30 & 2nd & 4th Sundays 6-9 PM.
